Bacchus'
owner/manager Norn Tang had many years' bartending
experience in bars and dance clubs around town.
A mural of a dining room scene, semi-Caribbean
style, covers one entire wall. Bacchus features
delicious cheese, ham, and stuffed olive bar snacks,
and true to its namesake has over 30 competitively-priced
wines from around the world. The menu is a work
in progress, but the kitchen is decent, so expect
good things to come. Happy hour runs from 4 pm
to 8 pm, with a special wine happy hour from 11
pm to closing (NT200 off each bottle). There's
no service charge. The small bar only seats about
four, but this is a great representation of a
New York wine bar, and many customers like it.--
