t's official: Jason's Market Place is a hit in Taipei! With a second store opening in the Takashimayeh Mall in TianMu, Jason's is evidence that residents of Taiwan want quality, imported food. The new Jason's offers the same wide range of products that you can buy in the Taipei 101 store. New products are introduced every month; for example, you can now buy high-fiber, high-protein cereals (like Kashi), and nutrition bars (like Genisoy and Luna). Jason's also offers a "Food 4 Life" guide to help customers with dietary needs. A variety of gluten-free, low-fat, organic, low-salt, and dairy free products are offered. Jason's Market Place is so determined to gain customer loyalty that they invite patrons to leave their food requests or suggestions on a public bulletin board. If you make a request, a manager will contact you personally by phone or e-mail, and he will do his best to stock your product. I have been pleased to see several of my own requested products appear on the store shelves within weeks. If you haven't been to Jason's Market Place, what are you waiting for? Their motto says it all: "a whole new food shopping experience." --By Rachel Lanning, translated by Batty Liu
