Olive Bistro(This place has since closed.)

Olive Bistro is a quaint family restaurant serving home-style western comfort food, with a few Thai and Filipino dishes thrown into the mix. As many ingredients as possible are handmade, including all sauces, hash browns, sausages, croutons and cookies. The menu includes pasta dishes, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, salads and brunch.
Lemon-Garlic-Shrimp Pasta (NT$110) is one of the more popular dishes as is the Pumpkin Penne (NT$95) made with fresh pumpkin. Spaghetti Carbonara (NT$95-110) and Cajun-Spiced with Creamy Sauce Pasta (NT$95-110) can be served with the customer’s choice of chicken and shrimp. Additionally, all pasta can be cooked al dente or tender, according to preference.
Brunch lovers will be delighted with the Breakfast Burrito (NT$65), filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, green peppers, lettuce and a secret sauce. Country Gravy Muffins (NT$65)–homemade sausage gravy served on an English muffin–is Olive Bistro’s take on the Southern US breakfast staple Biscuits and Gravy. Hashbrown Breakfast (NT$65), Cinnamon Pancakes (NT$65), Eggs Benedict with Cheese Sauce (NT$65) and Beef Burger with Fries (NT$95) round out the brunch menu, available all day.
For those with a sweet tooth, there’s a selection of milkshakes (NT$50-65), made with fresh seasonal fruit, and the Ice Cream Cookie Cup (NT$45), a cup of delicious ice cream with a homemade oatmeal cookie. A nice selection of hot and cold drinks, coffees and teas (NT$35-75) includes a Latte, Espresso, Milk Chai Tea, and Mocha Frappaccino. Adults can enjoy a beer (NT$55) while kid-friendly drinks include Hot Cocoa (NT$55), Orange Juice (NT$40) and Whole Milk (NT$45).
