This low-profile bistro originally opened on Beitun District’s SiPing Road over a year ago but recently relocated to North District’s CMYK Gallery. Diners who also enjoy art and relaxation should appreciate the brand-new menu created by Chef Marlboro Lin, whose earnestness and passion for cooking means that he always tries to present exquisite flavors through the ingredients and dishes he offers. Dinner sets (from NT$950) feature five courses, including appetizers, a main course and dessert. The recommended U.S. Beef Short Rib, cooked in Kamado porcelain ware, is an elegant combination of meat and a sweet-and-spicy sauce made with peas and Thai spices. Good-value three-course lunch sets (from NT$450) include an appetizer, main entree and handmade dessert. The menu changes slightly every two weeks and, as there aren’t too many drink options, customers are welcome to bring their own beverage (with NT$50 cleaning fee). The cozy dining space here makes this an excellent option for dates and other private events.
