        Willy's Second Base Bar & Grill is a safe bet. Steve Wilson, Canadian by birth and former major league pitcher with the LA Dodgers and Chicago Cubs, serves over 90 house specials and the plates are always loaded! Baby Back Ribs marinated in Jim Beam and Budweiser (NT$300-1/2 rack; NT$500-full rack) is a hit; Fillet Steak (NT$350) and Surf & Turf (NT$500) are great runners' up. Steve came to Taiwan to play ball and coach and decided to stay on to open a sports bar. The place is popular with baseball fans, science park techies, the high-speed rail crew and out-of-towners. And, the TV's always on to catch the latest game.
