        Miss Wang, the proprietor of Piece Peace, has a good thing going. First of all, she's got a pleasant location: the store looks out through huge picture windows at a green and leafy Chiayi Park. Secondly, she's got the usual tasty items on her menu, coffees, teas, various juices, and a breakfast special for just NT$120 between 8 am and 11 am. There's a magazine rack full of the latest gossip rags, and a large TV above the coffee bar that is often tuned to CNN, TVBS and other popular channels. But best the perhaps feature of all is that the store is located adjacent to Caves Bookstore, which has an excellent selection of both Chinese- and English-language reading material. So either before or after picking up the latest bestseller or the day's newspaper, Piece Peace makes a perfect pit-stop--convenient, clean and airy.
