Take a walk up the hillside path along the
coast next to Jhongshan University and you will see an assortment
of eye-catching signage. It won't be difficult to spot the
cute and attractive sign of the Woodpecker Cafe. Surrounded
by trees and overlooking the beautiful sea, this trek up to
the Woodpecker Cafe is definitely worthwhile. It is no wonder
that some regulars come here on a daily basis, and painters
like to come here for inspiration. The scenery and relaxed
atmosphere might be the main attractions here, but the owner
spares no effort in selecting the finest coffee beans for
his coffees. The fragrant lattes and hazelnut flavored lattes
are a must try for coffee lovers. Also available are imported
English tea. Their Iced Tea is prepared using an Italian-style
coffee brewing method, and you will be pleasantly surprised
by how great tea can taste. Worth recommending is the owner's
handmade cookies. The Salmon Fried Rice with Herbs is also
worth trying, as it is prepared with Italian herbs and fresh
salmon. Relaxing music, the aroma of coffee, the sound of
waves and the sunset, this combination at the Woodpecker Cafe
will get you hooked. |
