Right near the Love River sits Hokkaido, where you'll have an excellent river and harbor view while you enjoy your meal. Not too far away, you can see cargo vessels berthing in the harbor every now and then. At dusk, the sunset's reflection casts a creamy orange watercolor palette all over the ocean, composing an amazing romantic scene for people to indulge themselves in.

Hokkaido is stylishly designed. The environment represents a balanced atmosphere with the combination of half traditional and half modern Japanese style, which makes a breath-taking impression on its customers. A thoughtful reminder: Hokkaido is famous for its service and dishes; therefore it is usually packed with gourmands during the lunch and dinner hour. It would be better to make a reservation ahead.
Hokkaido's meals cost NT$550 on both weekdays and weekends. Once you are seated, all of the items on the menu will be delivered immediately. To start the procession of delectable delights, you'll first be served Japanese salad, shrimp rolls, grilled oyster and fried golden shrimps which are really crispy.

These will be followed by sashimi with a variety of freshly-sliced fish. The whole meal also includes hotpot, absolutely fresh king crab, seafood, beef, pork and a variety of veggies. Besides that, the waiters from time to time will recommend to customers the specialties of the day, which won't cost you extra money. While you are enjoying your meal, the staff will stay around your table to grill your meat and serve your needs. Non-alcohol drinks are free, but beer and sake are charged separately.
With great music and pleasant service, Hokkaido is a nice place to hang out with friends or family. Taking a walk after dinner along the riverside and letting the the breeze brush by your face is strongly recommended.
