Tinhouse Restaurant(This place has since closed.)

Visitors to the bustling Fengjia Night Market area can swing over to this strikingly-beautiful new restaurant to relax and enjoy western-style fusion cuisine and drinks in a comfortable setting. The modern design and cleverly-illuminated decor truly stand out and the varied menu includes Italian-style risotto and pasta entrees, starters like Salad with Fried Cuttlefish (NT$280) and snacks such as Vinegar Flavored Fried Potato Chips (NT$170) which pair well with alcoholic beverages. Tinhouse Linguine (NT$240) is stir fried with vegetables, topped with a Taiwan spa-boiled egg and garnished with home-grown edible flowers. There are also uniquely flavored and beautifully presented drinks, from milk shakes to Our Almond Tea (NT$160), inspired by a popular Taiwanese drink from earlier times, according to menu designer Mr. Ji. With three floors of space, Tinhouse offers a wide range of seating arrangements for dining, meetings and other special functions. –By Judy Tan Lee Choo Translated by Anna Yang
