After three years of renovations, The Sheraton
Taipei Hotel presents its all-new Presidential Suite. With
200 pings of space and a upgrade cost of NT$30 million, this
super-deluxe suite is situated on the hotel's top 17th and
18th floors. Decor is a fusion of antique and modern stylishness--a
understated modern-style Chinois--with the finest quality
obvious in every detail. Guarded by two butler rooms, the
security of VIP guests is guaranteed, while an Executive Secretary
Room helps busy VIPs organize their schedules. The loft design
creates a "homey" feel and includes three lounges,
five rooms, seven bathrooms and one kitchen. There are 10
different areas, each with its own theme and purpose. The
facilities include German Leicht kitchen appliances, German
Gaggenau stoves costing over NT$3 million and a stainless
steel digital refrigerator costing NT$500,000. The bathrooms
are equipped with sauna and steam rooms, as well as a Jacuzzi
with a view of the constellations. Most furniture is from
the classic Italian brand Cassina, with Flos lighting fixtures
and Philippe Starck designed bathroom facilities. The simple,
understated, yet luxurious, style found here breaks away from
traditional expressions of opulence. One night's stay is NT$168,000.
