Located near National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Tuku Village is a cultural and creative products shop offering classic Japanese bowls and utensils. The colorful bowls, decorated with child-like paintings, are all handmade. These include the “Peekaboo” series (NT$1,250), featuring adorable lion’s fur and owl’s wings decorations that are delightfully fun to observe at the bottom of the bowl when finishing one’s food. Blut’s Fuji Mountain Cups (NT$1,300 for 2 cups), simple floral-decorated plates (NT$880) and limited summer edition Aderia foggy beer glasses (NT$800) are perfect gift items here. –By Chloe Chang Translated by Anna Yang
