Verdure Restaurant

If you have a hankering for vegetarian dining, this restaurant is a decent option. Walking inside through the glass entrance takes you away from the outside world and into a cozy dining space with wooden tables and chairs, surrounded by plants, classy furniture and relaxing music. This ambiance is matched with a variety of handmade vegetarian dining options such as flat bread, sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes, plus coffees, virgin cocktails and seasonal juices.
Recommended selections for those wanting to explore Verdure’s culinary inventions include Bruschetta (NT$250), a sizable open-face sandwich prepared with sesame leaves, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and a sous vide egg, making it perfect for a brunch or filling afternoon tea time snack. You can also try the Ratatouille (NT$250), pasta flavored with pickled chilis, and Salted Egg Pasta (NT$270), made with salted eggs instead of cheese, for a wonderful pairing with baked pumpkin, vegetables and walnuts. –By Helen Young Translated by Anna Yang
