To say that Taichung has a lot of options for clothing shopping is an understatement.  However, amidst all the choices in department stores and shops out there, one frequently overlooked category is ethnic clothing.  Representing some of the most creative and vibrant fashions to be found in the city, these styles--from across China and the rest of the world--can be found at a number of excellent shops that are well worth making the trip to.  Just as good, many of these shops provide unusual options, such as custom-tailored and reasonably-priced second-hand items.

If you're a member of the male gender, you probably will not be as interested in the information provided below, that is, unless you're looking for something special for that female person in your life.  Women, however, will be delighted to know that Taichung has plenty of options when it comes to finding fresh and unique fashions that will help them stand out from the crowd.
