This recently-opened Singaporean vegan restaurant sits in a quiet neighborhood next to Tunghai University. A la carte entrees can be upgraded to sets with a drink and dessert. Drinks include coffee, US imported organic soy milk shakes, plus fresh blended beet and apple juice. There are also the popular low-calorie cakes for some guilt-free enjoyment. --By Shi Yong Feng, translated by Anna Yang

A. Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice here is made without chicken meat and non-vegetarian spices. The chef cooks sesame rice with ginger and tops pan-fried bean curd skin over rice, with colorful side dishes including water-boiled king oyster mushrooms, cauliflower, tomatoes, cucumbers, and jujube beans. Dishes come with Nanyang dipping sauce brought back from Singapore for fresh added flavor.

B. Nanyang Bak Gut Teh features a flavorful variety of mushrooms such as enoki, portobello and satyr's beard.

C. The all-natural English Vegetarian Muffin is the only western menu item, and is served with a hash brown, two fruit kebabs and large salad on the side.
