MORRISON MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCE
136-1, Shui Nan Road
Tel: (04) 2292-1171, ext. 401
Hours: Call for open times

In a true labor of love, this impressive new museum is the culmination of hundreds of thousands of collective hours by Morrison Academy's students, teachers, parents and community volunteers, led by science teacher Dr. Dan Anstein. With a collection of between 15,000 and 20,000 insects, including all 369 known Taiwanese butterfly species and about 170 beetle species, the museum has the largest non-government collection and fifth or sixth largest overall. There are also plenty of living and preserved reptile, fish and mammal species. Call the school for specific viewing times and more information.
