Take your partner to National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and appreciate the 2020 Light Festival, installed and displayed by local and foreign artists. The outdoor lawn area features a bridge and more illuminated art that are great for taking photos in front of. Then walk to the nearby Sheng Ji New Village to stroll around the old buildings and shop at numerous cultural and creative knickknack stores. Fun together in the snow
Taichung’s Mitsui Outlet Park mall is home to Snow Town,a cozy venue maintained at 20 degrees Celsius but filled with chemical-free snowflakes. Free sleds are available and there are mittens, coats, snow buckets and other fun snow toys are available for rent. Packages that include access to a snow playground area are perfect for couples and families with kids, and light meals can be enjoyed after playing the snow. You do some outlet mall browsing and shopping and savor ramen in a rich chicken-flavored broth Ginza Kagari restaurant. End this date with a drive to Gaomei Wetland to view the sunset. In the end, it’s a bit like taking a winter trip to Japan without buying an air ticket.
