Li Ju serves authentic northern Chinese cuisine, including various congees, noodles and side dishes. Some of the congee choices include millet congee and green bean and oatmeal congee. Neatly arranged on glass shelves is an assortment of side dishes, including dried fish and pickled vegetables. Definitely try Li Ju’s eggplant. Even those who claim not to like eggplant will fall in love with this dish. Some of this restaurant’s more popular dishes are its chicken noodles and Sung Sau noodles. The chicken noodles include tender chicken meat and are very spicy. Sung Sao noodles feature a mixture of seafood and vegetables. Li Ju’s prices are very reasonable. Congees average NT$15 per bowl, while various soups and noodle dishes range in price from NT$45 to NT$80.
