Located off of JingCheng Road, this place sports big ceiling-to-floor windows and a wooden door that give its interior a mixed, well-balanced rustic-industrial style. “This is an ark that belongs to my dreams,” says owner Shi Chi-Shiang, explaining his shop’s name and noting that he discovered his love for coffee while studying and working part-time at a cafe. This experience led him to open a cafe on this near-hidden lane, not to make big money, but to share his passion with everyone and allow customers to savor good coffee and enjoy a simple happiness and satisfaction in life. Besides excellent coffee, there are also sparkling drinks, flavored teas and milk teas (prices all around NT$100). Daily limited-quantity desserts are available for enjoyment in this quiet, comfortable space, in addition to music records and special, culturally-oriented articles and magazines for reading, and the owner is always happy for a chat. –By Jason Chen Translated by Anna Yang
