It’s rare to find authentic brisket in Taichung but this place, near Taichung Veterans General Hospital, is a relaxing bistro for enjoy such delicacies and drinks. The GOTCHA Smoked Brisket (NT$400, 7 oz.) is well-marbled while the GOTCHA Smoked Ribs (NT$500/half rack, about 7.5 oz.) uses pork from Yunlin. This high-quality pork tenderloin is produced by Choice Pig and both of these simple roasted meat dishes are marinated with spices and cooked in an imported roaster for 6-10 hours until they’re tender and juicy. Both are also perfect with a glass of craft or draft beer. Main courses normally include a salad and fries/baguette (set meal options available). Other menu options include burgers (NT$100-230), side dishes (NT$60-200), salads, desserts and drinks.
