Kaido Cafe This place has since closed.

Hidden in the upper reaches of a high-rise office building, this cafe’s windows offer a great venue for looking out over the city, day or night, while enjoying a coffee and light snack in a relaxing atmosphere. The freshly-brewed hot coffees, lattes, iced black coffees and other drinks here are also made with crisp-tasting, charcoal-filtered water.
The cafe’s Recommended Iced High Mountain Oolong (NT$100) is prepared with Alishan tea leaves, cultivated at an elevation of 1,600 meters. This cold-brewed tea takes 4.5 hours to make through a drip process. The final result is filled with catechin and tea aromas and, served with beautiful tea ice cubes, ensures that every sip is refreshing and enjoyable.
Lattes (NT$90-100) come in various flavors and the shop’s coffee beans are roasted and prepared in six steps, with an Italian coffee machine producing fragrant, low-caffeine brews that are ideal for customers who want to savor their coffee but still be able to sleep at night.
Light snacks include pizza (NT$135) and pasta (NT$125), freshly prepared with handmade noodles. This reasonably-priced, quality dining fare, plus relaxing ambiance and good views, help make this cafe an even more appealing spot to hang out.
