The owners of this cafe, former employees of Starbucks, wanted to open a small friendly cafe where people could enjoy good conversation, good coffee and good bagels. The bagels, as suggested by the name, are imported fresh from New York and come in onion, cinnamon, blueberry, egg and plain flavors. They can be purchased plain (NT$60 each) or with cream cheese (add NT$30), or as a sandwich (onion and beef, smoked salmon, tuna salad, bacon and cream cheese or walnut cream cheese) for NT$130. Beverages include smoothies (coffee, espresso, mocha and yogurt flavors) (NT$100 to NT$120 for midium and NT$120 to NT$140 for large), black tea and green tea lattes (NT$100 for midium , NT$120 for large), and hot coffee choices such as latte (NT$110 midium , NT$130 large), cappuccino (NT$110 midium and NT$130 large) and of course, espresso (NT$60 midium and NT$80 large). This comfortable, modern-looking cafe is located in the heart of the Canal District across from Napoli.
