No Limit

It’s difficult to describe in writing the cornucopia of home-style flavors found in this restaurant, located in a warmly-lit, cozy, white wooden structure near Art Museum Parkway. In an era when so many people regularly dine out, finding home-style flavors can be difficult. However, the 20-plus Thai-style rice dishes (NT$230-380) and other eastern, western and Japanese menu items offer just that, reflecting Taiwan’s melting-pot of cultures with tasty cuisine and excellent ingredients that keep bringing customers back.
Each set meal is served with Xiluo rice and Fu-feng rice from Hualien as well as handmade marinated side dishes and vegetables, soup, and a drink. For NT$100 extra, diners can also get a dessert, or water-boiled vegetable with a NT$100 drink off the menu.
A top recommendation, Fillet with Apple Butter Sauce (NT$300), is prepared with medium-cooked beef cubes and diced apples, seasoned with bean paste, black pepper and butter. Thai Basil Chili Pork (NT$250) and Fried Chicken Thigh with Hot Sauce and Coriander Seeds (NT$250) are both fragrant entrees with a spicy kick. Among the nicely-presented curries are Green Curry Coconut Milk Chicken/Pork/Vegetables (NT$250-260), Red Curry Seafood/Beef (NT$270-280), and Japanese Beef Curry Omelet (NT$270), making No Limit excellent for dining alone or with a group.
