Thai J Hotpot Restaurant

The royal castle-like atmosphere at Thai J restaurant, located in the first-floor of Carrefour Market building, is filled with plenty of plants and colors. The first-floor restaurant now has expanded to offer a second-floor Thai-style hotpot restaurant. A primarily black color theme, accented by sparkling, elegant chandeliers, creates a high-end ambiance. There are three unique soup-base options. Pork Tripe Stew Chicken, with a thick, white broth exuding peppery aromas, is prepared with pepper, vegetables, select pork tripe, and free-range Tonghua chicken. Coconut Chicken Hotpot (NT$780/large, NT$580/medium) is prepared with local native chickens, vegetables and bamboo fungus. Twin-Side Hotpot (NT$880) is a pot divided between a richly-flavored XO brandy soup base and Thailand’s popular Tom Yum soup. All these delectable broths can be enjoyed with fresh beef, scallops, beef tongue, fish filets, shrimp, handmade meatballs and other seafood.
