GO！TARZEN (Guo Thai Shun)

A variety of handmade, rarely-seen Southeast Asian style hotpots featuring Laksa, Coconut, Bakuteh, and Tom Yam Kung flavors are offered with many fresh ingredients at this restaurant. Besides soup bases (NT$79-99) and chicken, pork, US beef and wagyu beef meat platters (NT$178-1,188), other dishes include Thai Basil Chili Pork over Rice; Crisp Fried Bread Sticks; Spicy Pork Meatballs; and Vegetables (all from NT$10 to 119). Two-person (NT$999) and three-person (NT$1,799) set meals feature a soup base (including vegetarian option), meat platter (can be substituted with vegetables), vegetable, noodles and rice, plus unlimited drinks and Thai-style fruit ice cream.  Recommended combinations include Bakuteh Hotpot with Crisp Fried Bread Sticks; Coconut Hotpot with vegetables; sour-and-spicy Tom Yam Kung Hotpot with seafood; and Laksa Hotpot with dried tofu. Soup flavors can also be adjusted in various ways, such as adding lemon juice to the Tom Yam Kung Hotpot, or removing the spice pouch from Bakuteh Hotpot for a lighter taste. As the restaurant is usually packed, reservations are recommended.
