Entertainment and hospitality group, the LOOP inc, known for managing a number of iconic, popular Taipei clubs such as Luxy, Xaga, and Omin for the past 20-plus years, has now opened the spacious ALTA in central Taiwan. This club, whose name means “peak” in Latin, plays electro, house and hip hop music from 10 p.m. Wednesdays to Saturdays, with special events featuring local and foreign DJs periodically being hosted (check ALTA’s official website for updates) for the pleasure of local partiers. This spacious establishment accommodates up to 1,200 people and its lounge bar serves various cocktails, champagne, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. There are also coin-operated lockers by the entrance and closets in the private rooms for storing personal items while you have fun on the floor.
