Cafe Heaven Disco Pub

Cafe Heaven is situated in the heart of the Taichung Kang Road business district, in a basement location next to Hotel National once occupied by the Blue Bay Disco Pub. The 200-ping establishment has a real club-like feel to it, with a blue-lit bar and interior, small tables and booths, funky lighting and a killer sound system that cranks out earth-shaking bass. The music tends towards the techno/house/trance side. Foreigners get in free through November (although they are expected to spend a minimum of half the cover charge); ladies get in free on Wednesdays; and Friday Gay Nights are already drawing big crowds. Cover charge is NT$300 normally and NT$500 on Fridays and Saturdays.
