MeetU Pasta is tiny, quaint little Italian restaurant serving up tasty pizzas, pastas and other dishes offering both traditional Italian and Asian-fusion flavors. The pizzas are thin and crispy, cooked to a perfect golden crust with a few charred spots typical of traditional Italian pizzas. For a classic Italian pizza, the Margherita (NT$228), with fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes and bright green fresh basil, is highly recommended and one of the most popular items for a reason. The Hawaiian (NT$198), topped with ham and pineapple, is also hugely popular.
The menu also boasts a selection of dishes with house-made gnocchi–Italian potato-and-flour dumplings–like Gnocchi with Braised Beef Brisket (NT$218). For more Asian-style flavors, try Gnocchi with Seafoood in Sour and Thai Spicy Sauce (NT$218) or Gnocchi with Kimchi Pork (NT$208). Also pleasing are the gratin dishes (NT$188-228), featuring small baking dishes filled with pasta, meat or fish and sauces, topped with cheese and broiled. Farfalle with German Sausage in Tomato Sauce (NT$188) and Rice with Seafood in Pesto Cream Sauce (NT$228) are two options. Pasta and risotto entrees include the well-liked Spaghetti with Chicken Drumstick in Tomato Sauce (NT$208) and Risotto with Pork in Black Pepper Cream Sauce (NT$188).
A small selection of sides (NT$40) includes bread and soup, and salads include Spicy Fried Chicken and Vegetable Salad (NT$100) and Chicken Drumsticks with Vegetable Salad (NT$120). No Italian meal is complete without a coffee (NT$60-90) and you can opt for American, Latte, or Cappuccino.
