This restaurant offers a good range of reasonably-priced Japanese dishes and a warmly-illuminated, cozy setting that usually leaves diners feeling satisfied, sated and flying high, like the eatery’s name seems to imply.
The menu ranges across broiled, grilled, deep-fried and other choices, sashimi selections, and seafood donburi (NT$89-368) with prices for these premium home-style dishes mostly falling into the NT$100-200 range. The generously-portioned Udon Noodles in Pot with Souffle (NT$288) are a mix of chewy noodles and mouth-watering soft steamed eggs. Despite the fact that nothing exceeds NT$400, top-grade ingredients are also used in the broiled and handmade sushi items (NT$68-368), including sea urchin, salmon roe and fresh scallops.
Other dishes include stir-fried options, Ochazuke (rice with tea) and hot pots (NT$45-488), in addition to grilled snacks freshly made to order.–By Niang Chen Translated by Anna Yang
