Seasons Vegetable

Even non-vegetarians should be attracted to this cozy eatery, a far cry from traditional Buddhist vegetarian buffets. Instead, its modern-feeling, spacious setting is illuminated by natural light and decorated with flowers and greenery. The buffet area is well-stocked with a variety of fresh vegetables, cold dishes, salads, steamed and fried foods, fried rice, buns, sushi and braised eggplant, plus other creative, delicious dishes such as dry fried tofu topped with shop’s specialty sauce, or the cooling, smooth almond tofu. All dishes can be enjoyed with white rice or other grains, as well as all-you-can-drink regular and sweet soups. Diners’ buffet selections are priced by weight (NT$25 per 100 grams) before they sit down to enjoy them. –By Ann Li Translated by Anna Yang
