Resembling a supermarket’s meat/seafood section, this Chung Yo Department Store B3-level restaurant offers fresh seafood shipped directly from the harbor. By the entrance is a fresh ingredients section with various high-quality, reasonably-priced seafood, meat and hot pot ingredients in containers and packages. This include lobsters, wild prawns, Argentine red shrimp, flatfish, European squid, grouper, sea bass, abalone, Wagyu and Angus beef (Choice and Prime) and Yilan cherry duck, all available for prices cheaper than supermarkets. Customers gather selections in a basket, pay, and are escorted to a table for their hot pot meal. Among the soup bases is a bonito stock that accents the fresh, savory ingredient flavors.
