This buffet restaurant promotes the dining concept of using local organic farm produce and other healthy ingredients to create light meals.
The total 15 to 25 fresh vegetarian dishes in the buffet here are simply seasoned with tea seed oil, Wufeng District mushrooms, organic rice from Hualien County, and fresh fruit. A variety of fresh food choices include cold dishes, salad spring rolls, stir-fried vegetables, tofu spring rolls, radish cakes and buns, organic noodles, and seasonal herb soup. In addition, four desserts made with healthy and colorful ingredients are available. Drinks include freshly-brewed coffee, fresh juice and special beverages prepared from black fungus and cassia.
Diners can enjoy all this during weekdays for NT$380/person or on holidays for NT$420/person (kids between 90 and 135 cm. tall are NT$168/person) and groups of four get a 5% discount. Reservations during holidays are recommended.
The spacious indoor/outdoor greenery-filled dining spaces are a wonderful venues for enjoying a meal and parking is conveniently available nearby next to Tzu Chi Hospital. The restaurant also sells organic products and other ingredients, and pottery tea cup sets and plates.
